We provide a quality garage floor tile at a surprising price. Through persistent negotiation, we brought this tile from the best manufacturer in the business and offer it to you at an incredibly low cost. This product retails under brand names for $3.49/Sq. Ft. and it is on sale from us for $2.49. This tile comes with a ten-year manufacturer warranty that warrants that the materials supplied will be free from manufacturing defects for a period of ten years from the installation date.
We believe in backed claims. This product was ASTM G 21 tested by a third party and proven to be fungus resistant – no growth. The tile is also resistant to mildew and bacteria. The superior engineering of the tile backing allows for water and air to flow through the bottom of the tiles. When water comes in, it comes out; diminishing chances of mold growth. The garage floor tiles are also incredibly strong – and we aren’t just saying that. The TrueLock HD tiles are subjected to stringent industry tests that other tiles in the industry cannot pass or choose not to test. The tiles tested and passed for rolling loads and compression vs. crush under ASTM D 3998. The product is also proven to have a 5 – 10% noise reduction coefficient. Note that the tests are done in ideal circumstances and that not every garage is ideal.
Before installing the garage floor tiles, we recommend the use of a synthetic underlayment such as landscapers fabric for further noise reduction. Before installing your garage tiles, consider treating your garage floor. An ordinary garage floor can be treated for under $100 using a product like the B4 Floor prep. While the tiles make your garage look ‘finished,’ the tiles are not a substitute for proper concrete protection and treatment.
During the installation process, you’ll note that the tiles have four sides. The sides with the loops are female, and the sides without the loops are male. The pegs on the male side lock into the loops on the female side. Standing outside the garage, looking in, start the installation with one male side facing the garage door and the other to the left. For a wall-to-wall installation, it is only necessary to order enough female edges to track the garage door. We always recommend ordering two more female edges than needed and a few extra garage floor tiles as well just to be safe.
