Garage Floor Tiles, like all garage flooring, expand and contract. It is important to follow the installation instructions to allow for such expansion and contraction. If you have a large job or a job which is an atypical application - such as partially exposed, fully exposed, commercial applications, etc., the product is appropriate for such an application but like any building product special attention to detail may be needed. If you have such a job we recommend you contact us or the flooring provider of your choice so we can discuss job specific installation procedures.

Forgive the clichè, but installing MotorMat Sport Tile (formerly Daytona) is a snap. The
primary tools needed: hands and feet. Simply assemble tiles in the same
direction-pegs on the left and top, loops on the right and bottom. After
laying a tile in position, step on its edge to lock the peg into the loop.
Custom cutting or trimming, if necessary, can be done with a utility knife.
Ramp edges are also easy to install. Then drive onto the surface. Daytona
comes up as easily as it goes down. In fact, it can be readily disassembled
in large pieces using a broom handle, making maintenance, transportation and
reassembly easier than a victory lap. |
